NASCAR® legend Dale Earnhardt Jr. will once again get behind the wheel of a Late Model Stock Car and battle it out with short track racing’s top pavement drivers in the 30th running of the South Carolina 400 event at Florence Motor Speedway. With success in his prior Late Model start in 2022, Dale Jr. will be looking to capture even more short track magic in one of the most prestigious Late Model events in the southeast on November 19. To make the occasion even more special for Earnhardt’s fans, the No. 3 Chevrolet Camaro Late Model will sport an all-gold paint scheme emblazoned with Bass Pro Shops logos, just like one of his father’s most legendary NASCAR® rides from the late 1990’s. Dale Jr.’s fans will want to add the official Lionel Racing die-cast of the No. 3 Bass Pro Shops Late Model Stock Car to their collections. This special die-cast will be produced on Lionel Racing’s updated Late Model tooling, which will provide a more accurate replica of the newest generation Late Model.

**Lionel Racing has begun the process of updating its 1:24 and 1:64 Late Model tooling, so it will more accurately represent what is currently seen on track. The Dale Jr. Bass Pro Shops Late Model die-cast and future Late Model die-cast will be built on this new tool. We anticipate the Earnhardt die-cast will deliver in August 2023. Please note that the Dale Jr. Sun Drop die-cast will not be built on the new tool as we are too far into the production process to do so.
