Reigning NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series® champion Zane Smith scored the victory at Circuit of the Americas for a second-straight season with with one hot performance in the 2023 edition of the XPEL 225. Smith led the final 15 laps and a race-high 16 overall and cruised beneath the checkered flag more than five seconds ahead of the second-place finisher at the 5.451-mile Texas road course. Following the dominating victory, Smith’s burnout at the track’s start-finish line was so intense that it caught the No. 38 Speedco Ford F-150 on fire as the driver celebrated his second win of 2023 and the third-straight for the Front Row Motorsports team at COTA.
