Hendrick Motorsports driver William Byron held off all challengers in the closing laps of the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway to secure his first victory of the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series® season. In the first race on the newly-reconfigured Atlanta track, Byron’s No. 24 Liberty University Chevrolet Camaro took the lead with 10 laps remaining and kept the field at bay for the driver’s third career series victory.
