NASCAR Cup SeriesTM driver Joey Gase paid tribute to an Alabama racing legend while also raising awareness for the importance of organ donation with a special paint scheme on his No. 28 Ford at Talladega Superspeedway. In partnership with Legacy of Hope, LOPA, MORA, and Advancing Site, Gase’s throwback scheme honored the late Davey Allison, a NASCAR Hall of FameTM driver who tragically passed away in 1993. Through organ donation, Allison was able to allow recipients to live more than 46 years cumulatively after his passing.
