At Sonoma Raceway in 1999, Jeff Gordon had the flu, a malfunctioning seatbelt, and desperately wanted to get out of his race car.
Nevertheless, the driver of the No. 24 DuPont Automotive Finishes Chevrolet persevered. Gordon suffered through a 20-minute red flag at the end of the race, dehydrated and sick. But he led the last 34 laps to clinch the victory in the Save Mart/Kragen 350. It was the second of what would become five career wins on the California road course.
Now Lionel Racing is excited to present – for the first time – a commemorative win die-cast of Gordon’s No. 24 Automotive Finishes Chevrolet. This die-cast will be produced as part of a strictly limited edition, so don’t delay. Place your order now!
