When Chase Elliott fires up the engine of his No. 9 Chevrolet during the Official Throwback Weekend of NASCAR® at Darlington, he will bring generations of his family’s fans back in time. With the support of Hendrick Motorsports team partner Llumar, Elliott’s Darlington ride will be all red just like another famous No. 9 that his father, NASCAR Hall of Fame® driver Bill Elliott, drove in the early 2000s for team owner and former Hendrick Motorsports crew chief Ray Evernham. The throwback look will be complete with an old-school number style, including the signature Evernham Motorsports “E” design, that also ran on Bill Elliott’s cars back in the day. Now the official Lionel Racing die-cast of this special Elliott family throwback car is available to order.
