Needing a win in the final race of the series’ regular season to make it into the Playoffs, Dillon made a bold move for the lead with just two laps remaining in a race full of multi-car crashes and a lengthy weather delay. Once out front, Dillon and the No. 3 Breztri Chevrolet Camaro benefitted from a draft from an RCR teammate to remain in command at the drop of the checkered flag. It was Dillon’s fourth career NASCAR Cup Series® victory and his second at the DAYTONA® track.
