Team Penske driver Austin Cindric had just enough fuel in the tank to score his first NASCAR Cup Series® win of the season at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway. With his No. 2 Freightliner Ford Mustang, Cindric pounced to the lead from second place when the leader ran out of fuel with two laps remaining. Cindric, who had led on two occasions earlier in the race, was credited with leading the final two laps for his first NASCAR Cup Series® win since the 2022 DAYTONA 500®.
